Chris O'Herron

Originally from Simsbury, CT, Chris O'Herron accepts commissions for portraits in charcoal or pastel. Chris graduated from the Illustration program at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001. One highlight of his education was studying and creating art in Florence, Italy.

 

Inspiration for non-commissioned work comes from the tobacco fields, people, and semi-rural settings where he grew up, and coastal Maine.

Chris currently lives in Burlington, CT and works out of a studio in the former Collins Company building, aka The Axe Factory, located in Collinsville (Canton), CT.
